Here's the Story:

One of the very first books I read on day trading was Toni Turner's excellent "Beginners' Guide To Day Trading Online" back in 2000. Since then, I've been a big fan of her work and have seen her speak several times at the MoneyShow.com's Trader Expos, when I've also spoken there.

Toni's site, at www.ToniTurner.com, provides educational resources and training via her Market Club, educational DVDs, seminars and more.

I contacted Toni to see about the possibility of doing an interview with her, and she was very kind to agree to let me interview her in July 2010.

Here's the questions I asked Toni Turner, and her intelligent, well thought out answers. You can follow along with the questions as you listen to the interview if you wish.

In the actual audio interview, you'll hear answers to these practical active trader questions (and more):

Question 1:
Tell our traders a little about yourself — what's your background?

Question 2: How do you teach your traders to manage entry signals, is there a favorite setup that you use? What's a technical pattern that you like as a favorite setup that you show traders how to trade?

Question 3: What's your approach to managing risk? How do you teach traders to set stops, and what's an example of a typical risk:reward ratio you'd use in trading?

Question 4: Many traders deal with discipline issues, taking too many wide stops and not keeping to a defined trading plan. What advice would you give traders when it comes to managing discipline more professionally in their trades?

Question 5: Toni, you're an authority on ETFs, exchange traded funds; I also like them and trade ETFs every week for swing and intraday trades -- what can you tell traders about ETFs, and how they're different from, and similar to, trading stocks?

Question 6: Your book, A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online", was in fact the very first amazon review I wrote back in August 2000, of hundreds now, it had a lot of great tips on everything, including the TRIN, also known as the Arms index. I use it here 10 years later every single day as an integral part of my daily trading plan. Toni what can you tell our listeners about the use of the Arms index, the TRIN, in helping them figure out buying or selling pressure in the markets, and how to use it to help them trade?

Question 7: Now you've got a lot of resources at your site, www.ToniTurner.com, which has your "Toni's Market Club" service, and your educational DVDs and other resources -- can you tell our traders a little bit about what you've got to offer, and how they can take the first step in working with you?
