Learning points: You don't need to be a "candle purist" or learn All of the dozens of patterns in order to trade with candlesticks. Learn how the 1-minute candles can help for daytrades, and try 5- and 15-minute candles for swingtrading. We use candlesticks primarily for exits in daytrading (on pivots, gap exhaustions), and for both entries and exits in swingtrading. Focus on spotting dojis, hammers, and 3 line breaks.
