TODAY'S PALTALK
PASSWORD IS: SWINGING
Welcome to DTU's Live AudioCast Active Traders'
Seminar
Time: 2 hrs
Start: 12 Noon EST
End: 2pm EST
Learning Points:
1) Scanning for Swingtrades: Use 52-week High/Lows, CCI/ADX and Gap moves.
We choose wide/clean charts with decent 4+ point ranges on 15-minute 10-day
candlestick charts. Tips on sector-based swingtrading explained.
2) Daytrading and Swingtrading both use volume breakouts and gaps. It's
the sensitivity, fine-tuning the entries, along w/risk mgmt techniques,
that varies, along w/share size.
3) Mini-portfolio approach: we like to manage from 4-12 open swing positions,
small shares (100-300 per stock) at a time, for up to 10-day round trip
trades.
4) We seldom if ever
swingtrade bounce moves or gap reversals. Instead, we like gap continuations
and breakouts/breakdown plays.
Trading Tools needed: basic setup is Medved quotetracker
+ IB. More advanced, use
eSignal + Cyber.
Scanning Tools needed: use tony oz'
scanner, bigcharts.com , stockcharts.com
scans, cbs.marketwatch.com and
briefing.com for news.

====== TIPS for SEEING OUR CHARTS CLEARLY (IE 6+):
To See our Charts clearly, running IE 6+:
Be sure to go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced
and scroll down to "Multimedia" and UNCHECK where it says "Enable Automatic
Image Resizing"
Tthis is an unwanted new default IE 6 feature that resizes images to fit
the current browser window size,
it makes our charts more difficult to see, so Uncheck it.

Disclaimer:
Traders Note: all alerts are for learning/educational purposes only and
are not to be construed as an offer to buy nor sell equities. We share
them to show you our real time trading techniques, so that you may better
understand how we look for trade entries. Do Not make actual trades based
on these or any other information you get via emails or on websites. Do
your own due diligence and consult with a qualified broker or RIA (which
we are not) prior to making any trades. You assume all risk/liablity for
all trades that you make. Daytrading is high-risk and speculative in nature,
and is not suitable for most people. Past performance is not indicative
of future performance. Hypothetical or simulated performance results which
are presented herein as learning examples have certain inherent limitations.
Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent
actual trading. No representation is made that any account will or is
likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Since trades
have not actually been executed, the results may have over- or under-compensated
for the impact, if any, of various market factors, such as lack of liquidity.
We make no performance claims of any kind. You hereby agree to all terms
in www.daytradingu.com/disclaim.htm by reading these materials. We hope
you're learning new strategies that are useful -- best wishes for successful
active trading.
