PALTALK PASSWORD IS: daytradingu
Welcome to DTU's Live AudioCast Active Traders'
Seminar
Time: 2 hrs
Start: 12 Noon EST
End: 2pm EST
Learning Points:
1) Daytrading: we like to avoid single-position-at-a-time newbie trading.
Entering multiple near-simultaneous positions into breakout sectors helps
balance risk and capitalize on strong moves. It also helps avoid the "overtrading
a single stock that's stopping you out" habit.
2) Swingtrading: keeping a mini-portfolio of from 6 to 10 simultaneous
positions with smaller shares is preferred over one to several larger
positions. We use a "mini-port" approach, again with the help
of sector charts and 52-week high/low and gap stocks, along with 10-day
channel volume breakout plays.
3) Insights into technical triggers for staggering entries in multiple
positions, patterns to recognize.
4) Managing
risk using multiple positions, setting specific P&L exits and stops
for each position.

Examples
of multiple position papertrading with cybertrader.com's cyberx simulator
(demo mode). Papertrading is good to practice your timing and learn how
to use the software. Be sure to account for slippage/realism when estimating
your skills for live trading. I like to penalize my "paper results"
by at least 50% to account for these factors:

you Daytrading University's technique of trading
multiple positions in the same timeframe, eg within 20-minute timeframes
of volatile moves in the NASDAQ Composite, for strong sector breakout
moves.

TIPS for SEEING OUR CHARTS CLEARLY (IE 6+):
To See our Charts clearly, running IE 6+:
Be sure to go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced
and scroll down to "Multimedia" and UNCHECK where it says "Enable Automatic
Image Resizing"
Tthis is an unwanted new default IE 6 feature that resizes images to fit
the current browser window size,
it makes our charts more difficult to see, so Uncheck it.

Traders Note: all alerts are for learning/educational purposes only and
are not to be construed as an offer to buy nor sell equities. We share
them to show you our real time trading techniques, so that you may better
understand how we look for trade entries. Do Not make actual trades based
on these or any other information you get via emails or on websites. Do
your own due diligence and consult with a qualified broker or RIA (which
we are not) prior to making any trades. You assume all risk/liablity for
all trades that you make. Daytrading is high-risk and speculative in nature,
and is not suitable for most people. Past performance is not indicative
of future performance. Hypothetical or simulated performance results which
are presented herein as learning examples have certain inherent limitations.
Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent
actual trading. No representation is made that any account will or is
likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Since trades
have not actually been executed, the results may have over- or under-compensated
for the impact, if any, of various market factors, such as lack of liquidity.
We make no performance claims of any kind. You hereby agree to all terms

you're learning new strategies that are useful -- best wishes for successful
active trading.
